Aurora Gaming will retain its Turkish roster for CS2 after the IEM Cologne Major 2026. This was reported by host and insider James "BanKs" Banks.
BanKs' statement refutes earlier rumors. Previously, insiders claimed that after the major, Aurora Gaming would become an international team, and Danil "molodoy" Golubenko and Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen could join the roster.
Currently, Aurora Gaming features a fully Turkish lineup: Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli, Ismailcan "XANTARES" "Dörtkardeş", Özgür "woxic" Eker, Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın, and Caner "soulfly" Kesici. The team's coach is Sezgin "Fabre" Kalaycı.
The IEM Cologne Major 2026 took place from June 2 to June 21. At the major, Aurora Gaming started its performance from the third stage. The organization has not published any official confirmations regarding the roster or potential transfers.
