BetBoom Team reached Stage 3 of the CS2 major for the first time in their history. At the IEM Cologne Major 2026, Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov's team advanced to the second stage with a 3:1 record and made it to Stage 3, as confirmed by the tournament bracket on HLTV.
The team made it to the playoffs under difficult conditions: due to visa issues, main player Pavel "s1ren" Ogloblin was unable to come to Cologne, and his place was taken by stand-in Timur "FL4MUS" Mariyev. Despite the lack of joint practice, BetBoom confidently passed the first stage with a score of 3:0 and then repeated that result in Stage 2.
For the Russian organization, this is the best result at majors: previously, the team had not managed to get past the group stages and reach the decisive stage of the main tournament of the year.
