BLAST announces a CS2 tournament in Mongolia with a$1.25M prize pool

Tournament operator BLAST will host the CS2 competition in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This is reported on the official website of the organizer. The tournament will take place from May 10 to May 23, 2027, and its prize fund will be $1.25 million. A total of 16 teams will take part in the championship. Eleven of them will receive invitations based on the VRS rankings, the remaining five will make their way through qualifying tournaments for Asia, Europe, North and South America. Invitations will be announced on March 2, 2027, based on the VRS rankings of March 1. The next BLAST-branded competition will be BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, which will be held from July 30 to August 2 in Malta.
