BetBoom Team captain Kirill Boombl4 shared his thoughts on the differences between the mechanics of CS2 and CS:GO. In a post-match interview at IEM Cologne Major 2026: Stage 1, he noted that in the updated game, thinking has given way to aggressive firepower.
Boombl4For me, CS:GO required 50% personal skills and 50% thinking and experience. CS2, on the other hand, requires 75% skill and 25% game intelligence – and that’s the whole difference.
