On the night of May 7, 2026, Valve released patch 7.41c for Dota 2. The update continues the series of monthly changes to the global version 7.41: no new content was added, all attention was focused on balance - weakening heroes, reworking items and targeted changes in mechanics. The main goals of the patch were heroes that were overly strengthened after the rework in version 7.41. Batrider has lost 10 base movement speed (from 320 to 310), Firefly damage has been reduced from 25/50/75/100 to 20/40/60/80 per second, and Flaming Lasso total damage has been reduced from 200/350/500 to 125/250/375. Beastmaster has lost one point of base power and damage at level 1, and the cost of Wild Axes is fixed at 65 mana. Alchemist has had his Molten Scepter gold bonus reduced in Greevil's Greed from +6
