The entry player of Team Liquid in CS2, Jonathan EliGE Jablonowski, shared his thoughts on the team's fiasco at IEM Cologne Major 2026. In a post-match interview, he noted that the prolonged crisis could not be fixed even with targeted adjustments and the integration of NertZ.
EliGEWe tried a lot – almost nothing worked. This is the main lesson of the season. Even with NertZ, we experimented with strategies, and in the end, we didn't even make it to the second stage of IEM Cologne Major 2026. It's tough, as we and the fans were expecting a different result. What we showed is unacceptable. After the tournament, we will have to analyze the problems because we are currently playing frankly poorly.
IEM Cologne Major 2026 takes place from June 2 to June 21, 2026. The top 32 teams continue to compete for a share of the prize pool of $1.25 million.
