The Falcons roster in CS2 achieved a hard-fought victory over FURIA in the quarterfinals of the PGL Astana 2026 LAN tournament. The match, which has already been dubbed one of the best of the year, ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of Ilya m0NESY Osipov's team.
The first map, Mirage, went to the Brazilian club, where Danil molodoy Golubenko showcased a phenomenal performance. However, on the second map, Nuke, a true drama unfolded: Falcons managed to clinch victory only in the third overtime. The main hero was m0NESY, who scored 15 frags with 116 ADR in just the first half.
The decisive map, Dust2, also did not go without additional rounds. In double overtime, the Falcons players proved stronger, with Maxim kyousuke Lukin and Rene TeSeS Madsen taking the lead. It is worth noting that this is the first playoff series for Falcons with their new captain, Finn karrigan Andersen.

It was a very tough game. I think it’s one of the hardest games I’ve ever played in CS, in terms of the number of overtimes.
