The Esports Federation of Ukraine (UESF) has disqualified Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyar, and Volodymyr "No[o]ne" Minenko. The reason is their participation in teams with citizens of Russia in official matches recorded on HLTV, Liquipedia, and VLR after July 1, 2025. The disqualification is effective until June 30, 2027.
The ban applies exclusively to tournaments under the auspices of UESF and automatically excludes the players from the national team roster. The ban affects, in particular, the competitions of the World Esports Championship.
At the same time, major international events organized by third-party operators – PGL, BLAST, ESL, Valve – do not fall under the jurisdiction of UESF. s1mple will continue to compete for BC.Game, while Yatoro and No[o]ne will represent Team Spirit and PARIVISION respectively in all majors and major tier-1 tournaments.
Let us remind you that No[o]ne recently secured a direct spot at TI 2026 with PARIVISION by passing through the European qualifiers.
