The organization Gentle Mates is shutting down its division for Counter-Strike 2. This was reported by French streamer and insider KRL on his page on the social network X.
KRLon the social network XGentle Mates are leaving Counter-Strike. Heretics, KOI, and GiantX are rumored to be interested in purchasing the roster.
According to KRL, three clubs are interested in the current roster – Team Heretics, KOI, and GiantX. None of these organizations currently have a CS2 team, so acquiring a ready-made roster seems like a logical step. Currently, the players for Gentle Mates are:
- Alejandro "alex" Massanet;
- Alejandro "mopoz" Fernández-Keijo;
- Stiara "sausol" Solsona;
- David "dav1g" Granado;
- Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez.
Gentle Mates opened their CS2 division in August 2025, signing the Iberian Soul roster. During this time, the team did not achieve notable results and failed to qualify for major tournaments. Previously, the organization moved their head coach Eloy "deLonge" Suárez to inactive status.
