On June 5, Stage 1 of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 will conclude – the final round of the Swiss System will determine the last participants of the second stage of the major. According to the HLTV schedule and Liquipedia, all three matches will be played in a BO3 format, and the winner of each pair will secure a spot in Stage 2.
15:00 MSK – TYLOO vs Lynn Vision. A Chinese showdown for the last slot from the region. Both teams come in with a 2–2 record: TYLOO defeated Sharks yesterday (2–1), while Lynn Vision lost to MIBR (0–2) after victories over HEROIC and Sharks. The loser will be eliminated from the major.
17:30 MSK – Liquid vs FlyQuest. A match between two teams that have already exchanged blows in the Swiss. Liquid started with a win over BIG but lost to BetBoom and MIBR, then eliminated HEROIC (2–0). FlyQuest, after two consecutive losses, returned to the race by defeating THUNDER dOWNUNDER (2–0). The winner moves to Stage 2, the loser goes home.
20:00 MSK – NRG vs BIG. A European-American duel for the final spot. NRG defeated FlyQuest in the third round but lost without a chance to M80 yesterday (0–2). BIG, on the other hand, confidently went through HEROIC and TD but lost to GamerLegion yesterday (0–2). This is the last chance for both teams to keep their dream of Stage 2 alive.
Already in Stage 2 are BetBoom, B8, M80, MIBR, and GamerLegion. After today, three more teams will join them – a total of eight participants in Stage 2 will start on June 6.
