Team Falcons captain for CS2 Finn karrigan Andersen admitted that he feels pressure from the criticism of his individual play. In an interview during the IEM Cologne Major 2026 broadcast, the Dane stated that he hates looking at his statistics but tries to compensate for weak personal performance with energy and leadership qualities.
Finn karrigan AndersenThis year has been very tough. I think for the first time in my life I felt the pressure from the attention focused on me. I hate looking at my statistics. But the team trusts me a lot. For the last two days, I’ve been shouting so much, trying to energize the guys, that I lost my voice. As a leader, you need to understand that you have several areas of responsibility. I can’t always control my game, but I can control my energy and how I lead the team.
The statements came after Team Falcons defeated NAVI 2:1 and secured a spot in the playoffs. At the time of publication, karrigan's rating in the tournament was 0.71 — the second worst after Vinicius n1ssim Pereira from Legacy.
IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to June 21 in Cologne. The total prize pool for the event is $1,250,000.
