The owner of Aurora Gaming, Valery "L3rich" Kharitov, spoke on Telegram about the assistance from the organizers of the Esports World Cup 2026 in obtaining French visas. According to him, the tournament organizing committee has sent participant lists to all French embassies and consulates around the world in advance.
Thanks to this, players can submit their documents in a super expedited manner – without prior appointment. Kharitov noted that he has already received positive feedback from other teams regarding the new procedure, although he added: "> let's see how it works in practice."
EWC 2026 will take place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from July 6 to August 23, 2026. The tournament covers several esports disciplines.
Recall that earlier PARIVISION withdrew from BLAST Slam VII specifically to focus on obtaining visas for participation in EWC 2026.
