REKONIX coach Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Borislavov Ivanov explained the reason for his transition to a coaching position in an interview on the YouTube channel Dejet. His words are cited by the Offstage portal.
Ivanov admitted that he had been trying too hard to replicate the achievements he had before 2018 and had hardly taken long breaks – the maximum break in his career was only one month.

This year I realized that I was tired of trying and not getting results, tired of watching others succeed.
Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov
According to the esports athlete, he always had the skills, but lacked mental resilience: after the peak of his career, the results with Nigma Galaxy, Tundra Esports, and other teams became increasingly modest, which significantly affected his psychological state.
The transition to coaching happened at the suggestion of REKONIX – Ivanov agreed to try himself in a new role to see if he would be drawn into the process. Together with MinD_ContRoL, the team qualified for the Esports World Cup 2026 through the Southeast Asia qualifiers, defeating GLYPH in the final with a score of 3:2.
Recall that earlier lorenof and SumaiL could have transitioned to Nigma Galaxy – one of the clubs that MinD_ContRoL played for at one time.
