The esports team Natus Vincere (NAVI) became the winner of the major LAN tournament IEM Atlanta 2026 in CS2. In the decisive best-of-5 match held on May 17, 2026, the roster of Aleksi Aleksib Virolainen confidently defeated the European mix GamerLegion with a score of 3:0.
The grand final began with complete domination by Natus Vincere on the opponent's pick – the map Mirage. NAVI allowed their opponents only three rounds, finishing the game with a score of 13:3. On Anubis, the fight was a bit more intense, but the team proved to be stronger again (13:9). The most tense was the third map Nuke, where GamerLegion managed to take the match to overtime, but Natus Vincere still snatched victory with a score of 16:13.
The main star of the final was sniper Igor w0nderful Zhdanov, who finished the series with an excellent rating of 1.44 (60 kills to 34 deaths). Valeriy b1t Vakhovskiy also demonstrated an outstanding game (rating 1.40). In the GamerLegion roster, only Fredrik REZ Sterner played consistently (rating 1.25), while captain Janusz Snax Pogożelski completely failed the match, ending it with a rating of 0.45.
For Natus Vincere, this triumph became their second trophy won in 2026 and an important step after a series of unstable results at the beginning of the season. GamerLegion, despite losing in the final, became the main revelation of the tournament, sensationally knocking out teams such as Astralis, Liquid, and Legacy along the way.
Earlier, it was reported that Natus Vincere defeated BetBoom Team in the semifinals of IEM Atlanta 2026, not giving their opponent a single map.
