Team Liquid Dota 2 player Michal Nisha Jankowski stated that Invoker in patch 7.41d has become "completely unplayable." According to him, voiced in a video by the club on YouTube, it is better to refrain from picking the hero in the current meta.
Invoker is completely unplayable. He is not as strong at reaching level 6 now, and his Aghanim's Scepter has been nerfed. You shouldn't play him right now.

Patch 7.41d was released on the night of June 5, 2026. The developers increased the cooldown of Ghost Walk, reduced the damage from Chaos Meteor, and changed the slow from Ice Wall. The update also affected the balance of other heroes and items.
Recall that earlier Speeed evaluated Snapfire in patch 7.41d, and Sikle reported on the fix for Doom's aura in the same update.
