The tournament operator BC Game announced the suspension of all future events in the BC Game Masters series for CS2. The decision, as explained by the organizers on social media, was made after discussions with a partner and is not related to the conduct, funding, or competitive integrity of the tournaments themselves.
According to the statement, the decision affects all upcoming tournaments, including the women's BC Game Masters Female, which was scheduled to take place from June 27 to July 26 with a prize pool of $25,000. The organizers emphasized that all prize payments for already completed tournaments will be made in full.
At the time of the suspension, the BC Game series had already held two LAN tournaments — the Masters Championship in Bucharest and the Masters Championship Season 2 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. The prize pool for each event was $50,000. Additionally, in May, the first season of BC Game Masters Female Europe was held online. The BC Game Masters competitions were primarily aimed at second and third-tier teams.
