The organizers of the Esports World Cup 2026 have revealed details of the Last Chance Qualifier – the final stage of qualification for the main championship. The tournaments will take place in Paris from July 5 to August 10 and will compete for the last 37 spots. This was reported by Esports.ru citing the press service of the Esports Foundation.
Participants in the EA FC qualification will advance to the Play-In stage, while the winners of the other LCQs will qualify directly for the main stage. Open tournaments will be held in eight disciplines:
- Street Fighter 6 (July 5) – 4 players;
- chess (July 9–11) – 14 players;
- EA FC (July 24–26) – 6 players advance to the Play-In stage;
- TEKKEN 8 (July 31 – August 2) – 4 players;
- Rocket League (July 31 – August 2) – 1 club;
- FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves (August 4–6) – 4 players;
- Counter-Strike 2 (August 7–9) – 4 clubs;
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 (August 8–10) – 1 club.
The Esports World Cup 2026 will take place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from July 6 to August 23. More than 2,000 players and 200 clubs from 100 countries will participate in the tournament, and the total prize pool will exceed 75 million dollars – setting a record in the history of esports.
