The esports club PARIVISION announced the forced withdrawal of its Dota 2 roster from the playoffs of the BLAST Slam VII tournament. The corresponding statement appeared in the official Telegram channel of the organization. The reason for the refusal to participate in the decisive stage was visa difficulties for part of the roster, which prevented players from arriving in Copenhagen in time for the start of the matches.
PARIVISIONPart of the team will not be able to arrive at the venue within the deadlines set by the tournament regulations due to visa complications. We are grateful to the BLAST organizers for their support in trying to resolve the situation, as well as to the fans for their support during the online stage.
The situation is particularly disappointing for the team given their results in the group stage. PARIVISION finished in second place in their group with a record of 8-3 and were set to start their playoff battle directly from the upper bracket semifinals. Now their place in the upper bracket will be taken by Team Liquid, who had previously lost to Aurora Gaming and were considered eliminated from the tournament.
Let us remind you that BLAST Slam VII takes place from May 26 to June 7, 2026, in Copenhagen. The competition, with a total prize pool of one million dollars, features 12 teams, and the tournament winner will receive the grand prize of 300 thousand dollars.
