CS2 analyst Jakob Pimp Winneche commented on the future of MOUZ after their exit from IEM Cologne Major 2026. According to him, as stated on his X page, the team still has great potential, but the management should have made the necessary changes earlier in the year.
Jakob Pimp WinnecheI still look to the future of MOUZ with optimism. By optimism, I mean that they still have great potential to become a top team again. What they showed at the major is the result of a much-needed decision. A decision that should have been made back in January, but it didn't happen.
MOUZ finished their performance at the main tournament of the year in 12th–14th place and earned $20,000 in prize money. In the third stage, the team suffered three defeats — from FURIA, Team Vitality, and FUT Esports. This ended a streak of five consecutive majors where the team reached at least the playoffs.
Recall that earlier MOUZ announced the departure of Brollan after the end of the season.
