Team Vitality's CS2 player Robin ropz Köl spoke about his team's mindset for the LAN tournament IEM Atlanta 2026. The esports athlete shared his thoughts in an interview with HLTV.org.
[Question: Are you worried that continuous victories might cloud your judgment a bit?] That's definitely not our problem. One of our priorities is not to waste time. We want to make the most of the situation we are in. We are the best team in the world, possibly the best in history, but that's always a debatable question. In any case, we are in this position and can make the most of it, and we are still in the game. As long as we are a team, I think we will keep moving forward.I don't think we will relax because we have a great system in the team, we have support from the staff, we constantly discuss these things and pay attention to what could throw us off track. Again, IEM Atlanta is not a priority for us, but we still don't want to go home with regrets. We are doing everything we can to be satisfied with our game.
Earlier, it became known that the organizers of the large-scale esports festival Esports World Cup plan to move the 2026 tournament from Saudi Arabia to France.
IEM Atlanta 2026 will take place from May 11 to May 17, 2026, in the USA. 16 teams will compete for a prize pool of $300,000. Team Vitality will start the playoffs from the quarter-finals — their first opponent will be Natus Vincere, with the match scheduled for May 15. It is worth noting that during the group stage, Team Vitality sensationally lost to the Russian team BetBoom Team, led by Kirill Boombl4 Mikhailov, with a score of 1:2.
