From July 6th to 7th, 2026, data miner Thour published a list of what he believes might be coming to CS2 with the fifth Premier season. Thour shared his thoughts on social media.
The data miner's prediction focuses on weapon balance, an Arsenal Pass update, and possibly some anti-cheat changes:
Thourdata minerConfirmed: -Overpass, +Cache. Prediction: weapon changes, Arsenal update, other changes. And perhaps finally something related to anti-cheat?
For now, these are just speculations based on previous patches related to the Premier season change. Valve has not officially announced balance, Arsenal Pass, or an anti-cheat rework. The only official information is that Overpass will be leaving the pool with the new season, and Cache will replace it, returning after seven years.
As a reminder, the fourth season of Counter-Strike Premier ended on the night of July 6, 2026. Matchmaking was paused until the start of Season 5. According to the CS2 developers, Premier matchmaking will resume with the launch of the new season, which is set to launch soon.
