The Ukrainian national team has named its squad for the Esports Nations Cup qualification

The Ukrainian national team in Counter-Strike 2 has determined the composition for the Eastern European qualification of Esports Nations Cup 2026. The selection starts on July 17, and out of 16 teams, only four will receive tickets to the main stage of the tournament. The winner of the national qualification of Ukraine was Fnatic - it is this club that will represent the country at the international selection. At the same time, the organizers set a restriction: all five players of one club cannot play on the national team. Because of this rule, two representatives of Natus Vincere were not included in the team, and their places were taken by the quarterfinalists of BLAST Paris Major 2023 Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev and Sergey “DemQQ” Demchenko, who now have the status of free agents. The composition of the Ukrainian national team: Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev, Sergey “DemQQ” Demchenko, captain Rodion “fear” Smyk, sniper Dmitry “jambo” Semera, Nikita “jackasmo” Skiba and coach Mix “Independent” Silins.
