Yellow Submarine secured the fourth and final European slot for The International 2026 by defeating Nigma Galaxy in the lower bracket match of the EU qualifiers. For Nigma Galaxy, this means elimination — the team will not attend TI 2026.
Nigma Galaxy had an uneven qualification: they defeated Spirit in the first match of the upper bracket but lost the series 1:2 and slipped into the lower bracket, from which they could not escape. The roster includes veterans, including KuroKy, who has been competing at TI for many years and will now miss the tournament for the first time in this role.
In total, four European teams will participate in TI 2026: Team Spirit, PARIVISION, HULIGANI, and Yellow Submarine. All four will travel to Shanghai from August 13 to 23.
Notably, neither PARIVISION nor Spirit received direct invites — both favorites qualified on their own. HULIGANI and Yellow Submarine have emerged as true revelations of the tournament.
