The sniper of BetBoom Team, Alexander Zorte, shared a story he encountered in his CS2 career. In a YouTube interview, he noted that the input lag issue on his new computer nearly ruined his form and impacted his statistics during official matches.
ZorteI had a weak computer, bought a new one. I join a match on it and feel that something is off. It got worse and worse every day, even though the FPS remained stable. Time passes, I join DM and struggle to get a single kill – I had never experienced that before. I assemble my old PC, launch the same DM – and immediately get three frags.
Zorte's team advanced to the second stage of IEM Cologne Major 2026, despite reports from captain Kirill Boombl4 about issues within the team. BetBoom Team completed Stage 1 with a score of 3–0.
Let us remind you that in the first stage of the major, the team showed a strong start, and Boombl4 separately mentioned that CS2 shifted the focus from tactics to pure shooting.
