Nemiga Gaming manager Eduard zverHDD Ashurkevich shared his opinion on the reasons for Tundra Esports' departure from Dota 2. In an interview for CyberMeta, he stated that the main problem lies in the lack of a clear business model and high expenses for maintaining the roster.

Tundra is not the first and, most likely, not the last organization to leave the Dota discipline, possibly temporarily. In my opinion, the main issue is not with the discipline itself, but with the absence of a clear and sustainable business model for organizations. Most organizations survive either through investments or through other avenues. Meanwhile, the costs of maintaining a competitive roster remain incredibly high, while the opportunities for recouping the invested money are limited.

According to him, the situation with HEROIC, paiN, and now Tundra shows that good results do not guarantee financial stability amid high roster costs. Teams need additional sources of income – working with content, sponsors, merchandise, and developing their brand outside of tournament results.
Tundra Esports officially announced their departure from Dota 2, fully transferring the roster to 1win Team, where Vladislav Stariy_bog Levenets will also perform as a stand-in.
Recall that earlier NS commented on Tundra Esports' departure, expecting a couple more losses among organizations by the end of the year.
