100 Thieves announced the benching of Andre "Ag1l" Zhil in an inactive status. The Portuguese player spent about six months with the team — since January 2026 — and failed to secure a spot in the starting lineup after the signing of device.
For the vacant role, the organization is targeting Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen from Monte. The 22-year-old Brit is one of the most promising young IGLs in CS2: under his leadership, Monte reached the third stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026, which was one of the team's best results in history.
If negotiations go well, Håvard "rain" Nygaard will leave the captaincy and take on a different role within the roster. The 100T lineup already includes the legendary Nicolai "device" Reedtz — the club is clearly building a team around tier-1 experience and young IGL leadership.
100 Thieves will debut on the Tier 1 scene at the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2. The team has about a month before the tournament — just enough time to finalize the transfer and gel with the new roster.
