BetBoom Streamers Battle CS #5 has gathered several unexpectedly strong rosters: in addition to the duo of ZoneR–FL1T–almazer, the organizers have confirmed another powerful lineup — Buster and FL4MUS are playing on the same team. Buster's professional level combined with FL4MUS's media presence makes the duo one of the most recognizable at the tournament.
The tournament started on June 29 and will last until July 4. Eight teams — a mix of professionals, streamers, and media players — are competing for 4,000,000 rubles in a round-robin format best-of-3, followed by a double-elimination playoff and a best-of-5 final.
The first day has already yielded results: OverDrive defeated Recrent 2:0 in the first match of the group stage. The competition for the playoffs promises to be fierce — several teams with Tier 1 experience are participating in the tournament, and it is from the professionals that the main struggle for prizes is expected.
