Professional CS2 player and streamer Almazer Almas Assadulin evaluated BetBoom Team's performance at IEM Cologne Major 2026. In an interview with the CyberMeta portal, he noted that the team with Timur FL4MUS Mariev as a stand-in looks stronger than any previous lineups of the club.
BetBoom Team is showing incredibly colossal results at this major, especially my brothers d1Ledez and FL4MUS. Plus, Boombl4 is calling legendary. Nobody expected such a performance from BB Team, but I think they will definitely advance to the next stage 100%. And if they manage to keep this lineup they have now, it will be the strongest lineup of BB Team in its entire existence.

Assadulin also commented on the sensational defeat of Team Vitality by 9z in the second round of the tournament. In his opinion, there is nothing critical about this result: Vitality "has a tendency to lose to weaker teams in order to then calmly and confidently advance further."
IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to June 21 in Cologne, Germany. The prize pool of the tournament is $1,250,000.
