Former Team Spirit member Leonid chopper Vishnyakov suggested that the team will continue to compete in the IEM Cologne Major 2026 playoffs without a coach. The comments were made during the ex-esport player's live stream on Twitch.

The team's head coach Sergey hally Shavaev was unable to attend the major due to health issues, and Dmitry S0tF1k Forostyanko did not receive a Schengen visa. Despite the absence of coaches, Team Spirit advanced to the main stage of the championship without a single loss.
The IEM Cologne Major 2026 playoffs will take place from June 18 to 21. Eight teams that made it through the group stage will compete for the championship title and $500,000 in prize money for first place. It is worth noting that earlier Team Spirit defeated 9z and secured their spot in the playoffs.
