Imperial Esports confirmed their status as the strongest roster in the South American CS2 region by winning the playoffs of the Thunderpick World Championship. The club successively beat two opponents: first Isurus (2:1) in a tense match, then Largados (2:0) - already confidently. The victory over Isurus required three maps - the opponent imposed a fight and did not give up without a fight. The final match against Largados was more comfortable for Imperial: the team won both maps and did not allow their opponents to cling to the series. Thunderpick World Championship is one of the key regional CS2 tournaments for South American teams. The success of Imperial Esports consolidates the club's position in the CS2 world rankings and provides points for participation in major international competitions. The South American region continues to show a high level: following 9z's victory at the XSE Pro League in Guangzhou, another South American club took the trophy on the international stage within one week.
