FaZe Clan has strengthened its roster with a temporary replacement in the sniper position. The organization officially introduced 20-year-old Danish player Jason JBOEN Bø Nilsen, who has joined on loan from BIG Academy.
According to FaZe and BIG, JBOEN will take the place of Frederik broky Borup in the starting lineup for the upcoming part of the season. The duration of the loan and further plans with the main AWPer of the club have not yet been disclosed.
The reshuffle coincided with a turbulent period for FaZe following the IEM Cologne Major 2026. The team did not make it to the playoffs of the major and is looking for options to refresh its firepower ahead of the upcoming tournaments.
Previously, insiders had linked other candidates for the sniper role with FaZe, including MartinezSa, but the club settled on the BIG Academy player.
