Streamer and former pro player Bogdan Iceberg Vasilyenko called Ayrat Silent Gaziev the greatest coach in Dota 2. According to him, the results achieved during his time with Team Spirit eloquently speak of the mentor's mastery. The comments were made in a new video from Team Spirit Stories on YouTube.
I consider Silent the best coach. This is evident from the results. I remember the moment when Team Spirit was just formed, that legendary roster that won two The International... I saw their progress. They progressed very, very impressively. I saw that Silent's mindset was definitely present in the game because I played a lot with him on the team. I went to The International with him. There were moments in their game where it was clear that Silent had put in a lot of effort.

Ayrat Silent Gaziev served as the head coach of Team Spirit from December 2020 to January 2026. Under his leadership, the team won The International twice (in 2021 and 2023), as well as the Riyadh Masters 2023, PGL Arlington Major 2022, and DreamLeague Season 21. In March 2026, Milan MiLAN Kozomara was invited to the coaching position.
