Insider and analyst OverDrive revealed details about Finn karrigan Andersen's role in FaZe Clan. According to him, karrigan served not just as a captain, but effectively as a playing manager: he participated in personnel discussions and had a say in decisions regarding players leaving the roster.
OverDrive noted that karrigan downplayed his managerial weight publicly, although in fact he influenced the team's composition significantly more than his official role suggested.
This explains why karrigan re-signed with FaZe just four months before leaving – he believed in the project he largely built from within until the very end. The player himself admitted in an interview that after practices he "went to bed broken" and ultimately decided to join Team Falcons "for the first time for himself."
