On June 21, the closed European qualifiers for The International 2026 in Dota 2 began. 16 teams will compete for spots in the main tournament of the year.
The qualifiers will take place from June 21 to June 28 in a double-elimination format, with all matches being best-of-3. As a result of the qualifiers, four teams will earn slots at The International 2026.
On the first day of play, June 21, matches are scheduled between Team Spirit – VP.Prodigy, Enjoy – Team Bald Reborn, Nigma Galaxy – Rune Eaters, and Natus Vincere – Modus. Among the participants are also PARIVISION, MOUZ, Virtus.pro, Power Rangers, L1ga (Huligani), Yellow Submarine, Inner Circle, and 4ikibamboni.
The International 2026 will take place from August 13 to August 23 in Shanghai. 16 teams will compete in the tournament, seven of which received direct invitations, while another nine will qualify through regional qualifiers. The initial prize pool is set at $1.6 million.
