Team Resilience and Vici Gaming secured two slots in the Chinese closed qualifiers for The International 2026 and became the first teams to qualify for the tournament. Both teams will join Xtreme Gaming, which received a direct invitation, and together they will represent China on home soil.
The roster of Team Resilience includes Shaohang "Erika" Yang, Ziliang "Echo" Xu, Kunbo "Niu" Li, Hao "plAnet" Lin, and Zhang "Zzq" Ziqiang, with coach Xie "Super" Junhao. Vici Gaming features Xuanan "Shiro" Guo, Huncheng "Xm" Guo, Zhang "Bach" Ruidai, Zixing "XinQ" Zhao, and Yiping "y`" Zhang, with coach Zheng "Yao" Yao.
The International 2026 will take place in Shanghai from August 13 to 23, with the decisive matches held at the Eastern Sports Center. A total of 16 teams will compete in the tournament: in addition to the invited teams, the winners of the regional qualifiers will also participate.
