A bug has been discovered in Dota 2 that allows Tidehunter to kill himself in a second. The details of the interaction were shared by Team Spirit analyst Denis "sikle" Lerman in his personal Telegram channel.
The problem arises when combining two level 25 talents. If Tidehunter has the talent "Kraken Shell activation triggers Anchor Smash," and the enemy Centaur Warrunner has the talent that turns Retaliate into an aura, the hero takes lethal damage from the cyclic triggering of the ability.

At that time, it was cleverly fixed by releasing 7.40b, which changed the mechanics of the problematic talent. It returned in a different form: now if Tidehunter has the talent "Kraken Shell activation triggers Anchor Smash," and enemies have a Centaur with the talent "Retaliate is now an aura," then the watermelon lord can kill himself in a second because Retaliate cyclically triggers multiple times.
Previously, Lerman had already drawn the developers' attention to a series of bugs related to Centaur Warrunner and the Hoof Stomp ability. There has been no official response from Valve regarding the new bug with Tidehunter yet.
