In Dota 2, the ability to randomly select Kez, Ringmaster, and Largo in all modes has been introduced. The change took effect on the night of June 23.
Previously, when using the random hero selection feature, Kez, Ringmaster, and Largo could not be selected by players as they were considered new characters. Now they fully participate in the general pool for random selection alongside other heroes.
The change coincided with another notable event: that same night, Axe was temporarily removed from the game. The hero cannot be selected in matchmaking or tested in demo mode, which the community linked to preparations for a new event.
Currently, the relevant patch in Dota 2 is the letter patch 7.41d, released in early June. In it, the developers reworked some heroes and items, as well as launched the summer season of "Quirks of Quortero."
