On June 29, Aurora officially said goodbye to head coach Sezgin "Fabre" Kalaycı. The Turkish specialist joined the team in November 2022 — at that time, the team was still called Eternal Fire. Over nearly four years under his leadership, Aurora transformed from a regional outsider into a regular participant in top playoffs.
Fabre's main achievement was winning the PGL Masters Bucharest in November 2025. At the IEM Cologne Major 2026, the team reached the semifinals, where they lost to FURIA — this was his last match at the helm of Aurora. In a video on X, the coach simply explained his decision: "I have been actively coaching for five years. I need to recover."
According to sources, Ashley "ash" Battye — former head coach of GamerLegion — will take Fabre's place. This aligns with Aurora's direction towards forming a more international roster. Fabre himself has not closed the door to a return: "I am not planning to leave the profession. I just want to take a break."
