The first matches of group B have been played at BBSB Streamers Battle CS #5. The main surprise was Team shoke's victory over Team zoneR with a score of 2:0. The ZoneR roster is one of the most anticipated in the tournament: it includes Artem "FL1T" Friedrich and almazer, and many considered them the main contenders for victory in the group. However, Team shoke left them no chances.
In group A, the picture is forming under the control of Team hooch — they first defeated Team StRoGo (2:0), and in the next match emerged victorious against Team Recrent (2:1). As a result, hooch is the only team with a 2-0 record in group A. Team OverDrive is also currently in the positive (1-0), while Recrent has already suffered two defeats.
The tournament continues until July 4 and includes eight teams in two groups. The prize pool is 4,000,000 rubles. BBSB remains the main platform for Russian-speaking CS2, where professionals and popular streamers play in the same league — this is what makes the tournament spectacular regardless of the level of individual teams.
