ztr leaves FOKUS after loan ends: Swedish IGL seeks new team for summer

On June 29, it became known that Erik "ztr" Gustafsson is leaving FOKUS. The Swedish captain joined the German organization in February 2026 on loan from GamerLegion. In four months with the team, he managed to win the Urban Riga Open Season 3 and qualify FOKUS for PGL Bucharest.
Also put on the transfer list is 17-year-old AWPer Georgi "Jorko" Mitev — according to French journalist KRL, FOKUS is also looking for a replacement for him. The Bulgarian prospect sniper ranked 25th in the latest HLTV Prospects report — despite his youth, his level is considered insufficient for the club's current ambitions.
The rest of the FOKUS roster — volt, Matheos, and Banjo — remains in place for now. The team's coach Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński continues his work. The organization faces a serious restructuring: the simultaneous loss of the IGL and AWPer means that FOKUS may enter the new season with a fundamentally different core.
It was a great time. I wish FOKUS all the best.
