BetBoom Team finished second at the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026. In the grand final on 19 July the team lost 1-3 to PARIVISION, but won the opening map of the series and earned $340,000.
Their run to the final was convincing. In the quarterfinals BetBoom Team crushed Nigma Galaxy, and in the semifinals they were the first to reach the decider, beating Vici Gaming 2-0. In the grand final the team pushed the favourites, taking the first map in 47 minutes, before PARIVISION seized control.
BetBoom Team fielded Vladislav "Kataomi" Semyonov, Danil "gpk" Skutin, Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov, Matvei "MieRo" Vasyunin and Vitaly "Save-" Melnik.
The Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026 ran from 7 to 19 July in Paris. Next up for the team is The International 2026, which begins in August.
