Team Yandex finished the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026 in third place. In the bronze match on 19 July the team beat Vici Gaming 2-0 and earned $200,000.
In the semifinals the side lost 1:2 to eventual champions PARIVISION – a series many called the tournament's true grand final. In the third-place match Team Yandex gave China's Vici Gaming no chance, taking both maps.
It is another podium finish for the team this season. Earlier in the playoffs Team Yandex knocked out defending champions Team Spirit 2-0 in the quarterfinals, one of the biggest upsets of the event.
The Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026 ran from 7 to 19 July in Paris. Next up for the team is preparation for The International 2026, which begins in August.
