After winning the IEM Cologne Major 2026, Team Falcons climbed to second place in the HLTV world ranking — the team started the playoffs in fourth place and finished the tournament as champions.
This is the historically best position for Falcons in the ranking. The organization continues its rapid growth: just at the beginning of 2026, the club was not in the top 5, and the arrival of karrigan in April and the formation of the current roster sparked a winning streak.
The first place in the ranking is held by Team Vitality — for Falcons to surpass the French team, they will need a few more major victories. Nevertheless, the current position already signals their role as a leading contender for the new season.
The next major test for Falcons is the Esports World Cup 2026 in CS2, which will take place in Paris in July.
