Maelstorm on the "Dark Carnival": "10 out of 10"

Streamer Maelstorm gave a high rating to the "Dark Carnival" event in Dota 2.

The comment was made on June 26, when Valve had already added mini-games to the season and expanded the shop. Maelstorm noted the visual style, new characters, and that the event gives players a clear goal for the summer without waiting for a major balance patch.

The "Dark Carnival" started on June 25 and will last until September 3. Within the event, chests, skins, treasure troves, and themed activities are available in the client.

Part of the community agrees with the positive assessment, while others are waiting for more serious changes to the meta. Valve has not yet announced a separate major patch amid the season.
