Today, June 25, at 14:00 Moscow time, one of the main matches of the European qualifiers for The International 2026 will take place. Team Spirit and Nigma Galaxy will meet in the third round of the upper bracket, and the winner will secure a slot at the main tournament of the year.
Both teams approached this series undefeated in the upper bracket. Spirit defeated Enjoy 2:0 — the maps ended 34:11 and 41:17. Nigma Galaxy also outplayed Natus Vincere 2:0, sending NAVI to the lower bracket.
The loser of the Spirit — Nigma match will not be eliminated immediately but will continue their journey through the lower bracket. However, for both organizations, this is essentially the shortest path to The International 2026: the closed European qualifiers are taking place from June 21 to June 28, and four slots for the tournament in Shanghai are up for grabs.
