Team Falcons top EWC 2026 Group A and hunt third cosecutive championship

Team Falcons finished the group stage of EWC 2026 in first place in Group A - two matches won, one draw, 5-1 on maps. The team went through three days of the group stage without defeats and without any visible moments of crisis. Route: July 9 – 2-0 against GamerLegion, the day before – 2-0 against Rune Eaters, on the first day – a draw with BetBoom Team 1-1. The only lost map came in the opening series with BetBoom, while the Falcons closed the next two matches confidently. The context makes this result especially significant. The Falcons are the reigning champions of The International 2025 and two-time winners of the EWC Club Championship: they took the title in both 2024 and 2025. No organization in the history of the EWC has ever won the club championship three times in a row. Now the Falcons have a chance to change that. Betting is further fueled by the calendar. EWC 2026 is the last major representative tournament before The International 2026, which will be held in August. This means that the current championship de facto serves as the final show of strength before TI: who looks good in the playoffs sets expectations before the main tournament of the year.
